Our desire is to develop mature young adults who impact the lives of young people through presence-based youth work, mentoring, peer and small groups facilitation, community engagement programmes, and events.

Core to this is the culturisation of our young adults community – the culture we seek to embody can be summarised by the following:

If you are a young adult of roughly 18+ years old (‘school leaver’ to ‘I’m starting my own family’) then please get in touch so we can help you connect with this life-giving community!

We also all head along to the Hornby evening service at 7pm on Sunday nights. It’s a place that is open to all but primarily caters to young adults and the themes that they want to wrestle with and celebrate given the stages of life they’re going through.

The Hope young adult community is permission-giving – it’s a safe place where you can bring all that you are without being judged or feeling shamed. We are learning to be vulnerable with ourselves, God, and each other so that we can actually express what is really going on in our internal world.

The key theme we believe God speaking to us about for the young adult’s community and this season we are in is ‘Get Ready for transformation.’

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

2 Corinthians 3:18
