Prayer is the foundation of our spiritual relationship with Christ. The bible instructs us to “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is the means by which we communicate with God. At Hope, we place great importance on the power of prayer and the role that it should play in our lives. At the start of each year, we devote three weeks to prayer, providing opportunities for corporate prayer, guided prayer and practical instruction on the topic. Throughout the week and the year, we hold various prayer sessions and events, often devoted to specific topics such as healing. You can identify our prayer events on the calendar, or see the list below for our Hornby prayer meetings, all held at 27 Amyes Road.
